Israel and the West Bank territory update:
Since October 2023, Travelex and Zurich have carefully monitored the situation in Israel and the West Bank territory of Palestine. Beginning June 3, 2026, Zurich will resume sales of travel insurance on trips with Israel and the West Bank territory of Palestine destinations.
Please note the following limitations on travel insurance plans for new trips to Israel and the West Bank:
Effective June 3, 2026, coverage will be available on newly purchased policies for trips to Israel and the West Bank territory of Palestine.
Trips with Gaza as the destination will remain ineligible for travel insurance coverage.
Claims related to the terrorism covered event for Trip Cancellation and Interruption benefits (if included in the plan) will not be considered eligible for trips to Israel and the West Bank territory of Palestine.
